4-H National Youth Science Day
The 2015 4-H National Youth Science Day Experiment, Motion Commotion, empowers youth to explore the physics of motion and distracted driving. Developed by Oregon State University Cooperative Extension, this exciting activity will combine a speeding car collision and a distracted driving demonstration in a simulated activity that investigates the physical and human factors of motion. The 4-H National Youth Science Day experiment is scheduled for Wednesday, 7 October 2015, during National 4-H Week. Through the Air Force 4-H Partnership, HQ USAF A1SOC centrally funded the purchase and shipment of 4-H NYSD kits for Child and Youth Programs so youth can experiment, explore and expand their scientific curiosity. AF Youth Programs will coordinate with local 4-H Educators and base partners to enhance the overall NYSD experience.
