Family Sports & Fitness
Find the Right Sport Find the activity that feels good for your age and abilities – then get out there and enjoy yourself! You don’t have to focus on competitive team sports – cooperative and individual games are sports too and allow almost anyone to participate. When planning family sports outings, take into account that younger and smaller people typically require more breaks or a slower pace. Encourage teens to re-engage in active fun with their friends.
Select Your Activities Individual sports provide cooperative and parallel play. Hiking, walking and bicycling help adults maintain or increase stamina and flexibility and increase motor skills and stamina in children.
