BENEFITS OF EATING ORGANIC FOOD
We’ve written on several occasions about the benefits of eating organic food. However, some food that is labeled “organic” doesn’t have significant benefits. A banana for example, in which you never eat the skin, does not need to be organic.

The following food labels might be helpful
"100% organic" – All ingredients must be certified organic.
"Organic" – The food has at least 95% certified organic ingredients.
"Made with organic ingredients" – The food has at least 70% certified organic ingredients.
If you were to pick just 17 things to eat organically, choose these.
Sweet bell peppers
Milk – free of recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH)
Beef – no unnecessary antibiotics or growth hormones
On the other hand, you can buy these conventional or local products without the expense of going organic.
