Garlic Green Beans

Simple and simply good. Use the best ingredients possible – including freshly ground black peppercorns and rustic sea salt – and earn Top Chef praise.
NOTE: You may omit the butter or oil, but the seasonings won’t cling as well to the beans.

1 teaspoon butter or olive oil
Cooking spray
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 large garlic clove, minced

PREPARATION

1.  Cook beans in boiling lightly salted water for 2 minutes. Drain quickly, then plunge beans into a bowl of ice water to stop them from cooking. Drain well.

3.  Add beans, salt, pepper, and garlic to skillet and cook 2 minutes or until heated through.
