Ingredients

• 2 ounces semisweet chocolate bits
• 1/3 cup low-fat granola – without raisins
• 1 large Braeburn, Gala or Fuji apple cut into 8 wedges

PREPARATION
Prep time: 10 minutes

1. Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl with an opening big enough to fit the apple wedges. Microwave on high for 1 minute, stirring every 15 seconds until the chocolate melts.
2. Place granola in a shallow dish or bowl.
3. Hold the skin side of an apple wedge and dip the opposite end in the hot chocolate. Allow the excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
4. Dredge the coated apple slice in the granola. Repeat the process with the remaining apple wedges.
5. Place all 8 wedges on a large plate and refrigerate 5 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened again.

Servings: 4 (2 apple wedges each)
