A touch of honey adds a rustic balance to the heat of ground red pepper flakes – and a touch of flame adds depth to the flavor of the chicken. This simple recipe is guaranteed to be one of your favorite chicken dishes.
Preheat a broiler or use a charcoal fire burned down to gray ash. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. Add chicken to bowl; toss to coat. Place chicken on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray or on grill grate. Cook chicken 5 minutes on each side. Combine honey and vinegar in a small bowl, stirring well. Remove chicken from heat; brush ¼ cup honey mixture on chicken. Return to heat and cook 1 minute. Turn chicken over, brush top with remaining honey mixture and broil another minute or until chicken is done.
